Eileen
P. Petzold-Bradley,
Owner and Director of pb, has over
12 years of professional experience in the policy and communications field.
She has a interdisciplinary, diverse and cultural background. Her numerous
projects have taken her to Europe, United States of America, Central &
Eastern Europe, Southeast and Central Asia, and Latin America.
Since 1997, she is actively working as a consultant and communications
expert in Germany. She works with a wide range of academic institutions,
policy think-tanks, foreign governments, private industry representatives
and international organizations providing her expertise in foreign and
environmental policy consulting, political advising, preparation of official
documents and marketing reports, and the planning of public relations
events. Previously she worked for the US Army National Ground Intelligence
Center (NGIC) as a Latin American security analyst and as a protocol assistant
for the Panama Canal Commission (PCC).
She is an American born and raised in the former Canal Zone in Panama.
She holds a Masters of Planning from the School of Architecture, University
of Virginia (UVA) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies &
Spanish, from the Schools of Public Administration & Foreign Languages,
George Mason University (GMU) in Virginia.
Her accomplishments included publishing numerous policy-related articles
in scientific journals; serving as an editor for many publications and
books; and preparing a variety of commercial advertisements, briefings
and press statements. Other achievements include organising international
conferences for over 300 persons and other events (workshops, seminars,
social functions) for large audiences. She is also a Honorary Editorial
Board Member of journal AARMS - Academic & Applied Research in Military
Science.
She is able to speak German and Spanish and has undertaken formal language
training for German in the (Berlitz School, Hartnack School, and Goethe
School) and Spanish in (Spain- University of Madrid, George Mason University-USA,
and Panama). Additional training includes attending courses at the: US
Foreign Service Institute, Virginia, USA; the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft
e.V., Germany; and Defense Intelligence College, Washington D.C. USA.
She is a certified Helen
Doron language teacher and provides language services to companies,
schools, kindergartens, and private individuals. She is well networked
within the policy and business communities in Germany and active member
of the American German
Business Club and Berlin
International Women’s Club.
